TIMELY WORDS FOR FATHER’S DAY
Does your father on this earth hold on to the Lord God’s hand?
Does he long to be near him, does he trust in His Word?
Does he know that the sorrows buried deep within his soul,
Can be healed by God Almighty,who brings peace to broken vessels?
Did you know about the forgiveness of your Father God in heaven?
Did you know He can lead you on His blessed and holy path?
So be humble and penitent as you pray with a heart wide open,
And He’ll love you and surround you with His mercy and His grace.
Does your father on this earth show his kindness and compassion?
Does he take you in his arms to give you a tender warm embrace?
Did you know that your heavenly Father, who dwells amongst the stars,
Wants to sit you on His knees and sing you songs of eternal love?
Does your father on this earth run after things that do not last?
Does he follow hollow traditions that mankind has prescribed?
For you have a Father above who wants to meet you in His garden
When the sparrows and the blue birds greet the early morning dawn.
If your father who is dwelling upon this defiled earthen plain
Has never talked to God above and Jesus, His only Son,
Then introduce your earthly father to the God of all Creation,
And travel this journey together, with the Creator, and Father of all.
Do it before it’s too late, for the time is running short.
