A PRAYER TO GOD
Please take a moment to relax your mind and humble your heart to focus on God, through His Son, Jesus.
Allow God to be the only person on your mind while you read this prayer.
If we can take the time to read long jokes, stories, etc., we should give the same amount of time to praise and worship God.
Remember, the friends who pray together often stay together for a lifetime.
Dear Lord, I thank you for this day.
I thank You for my being able to see you in new ways and hear you speaking to me this morning.
I'm blessed because You are a forgiving God and an abundant and understanding God.
You have done so much for me to keep me grateful, and I am blessed for knowing you and your Son, Jesus.
Forgive me this day for the trespasses I have done.
Forgive me for saying things that may not have been pleasing to you.
I ask You now for Your forgiveness.
Dear God please keep me safe from all danger and harm.
Help me to start each day with a new attitude and plenty of humble gratitude.
Let me make the best of each day serving you in some productive way.
Clear my mind so that you can instruct Me in new ways of fairness and justice I never knew before.
Let Me know what I can accomplish for you in my everyday life.
Help me to accept the portion you have given me on this earth.
Help me to accept all of the things I have no control over.
Let me continue to see things through Your eyes dear God.
Help me to know when I am seeking out the evil that you do not approve of.
When I sin let me understand that I must repent and confess with my mouth that You and Your Son, Jesus, rule over me.
Forgive me dear Lord when I make a mistake before you.
When this world closes in on me, help me to remember the virtuous examples, Your Son, Jesus, gave me long ago.
Make me to understand I need to find a quiet place of stillness everyday where I can worship and praise You and Your Son.
Listen to my heart dear Lord and cleanse it from the inside out.
Continue to cleanse me from within to accomplish and achieve Your will and plans for my life.
I ask You dear Lord to bless me that I may be a blessing to the other people I meet each day.
Help me to be an encouragement and blessing to others who are weak, hungry, in prison, and all alone.
Keep me strong and courageous that I may able to help others when they are defenseless and weak.
Keep me uplifted that I may have the right words of encouragement to give other people each day.
I know it is in your will dear Lord that I can always pray for those people who are lost and can't find their way to You and Your Son, Jesus.
I know I can pray for the people who are hungry and thirsting for You, that they will find the door that Your Son maintains, which leads to eternal life.
I also know it is up to You whether You will accept them and take them into Your sheepfold.
For You dear Lord are the Lord of hosts and You are the Lord over all the households You have made on this earth.
Therefore, thank you dear Lord for Your love, mercy, kindness, grace, contentment, compassion, and comfort in my life.
I thank You also for what You are about to do for me in the coming hours, as You have done for me in the past.
I pray for those who do not believe in You and Your Son, however I thank You that You have made me to see and believe in You and Your Son, the proper way.
Therefore, Lord help me to see Your abiding love and Your mercy on this earth.
I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or situation that You cannot help anyone to overcome.
Therefore, every battle you go through can be won if you believe and you have faith in God and His Son, Jesus.
If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord then you will be saved in the heavens above.
