HEAVENLY SUCCESS WITH GOD, OUR CREATOR

Philippians 4:13 --- I can do all things through Christ, Jesus, who strengthens me.

The road to Heavenly Success with our Creator is never a straight, easy, wide, and simple road.

There are many curves along the way called Failures, there are many loops along the way, called Sickness and Confusion, and there are speed bumps you will have to overcome, called Friends.

There are also red lights to watch out for at every turn in the road, called Enemies, and caution lights at every corner, called Family members.

You must realize you will also have flats along your way, called meaningless, dead end Jobs.

However, if you have a spare with you, called Determination, and a steadfast engine with you, called Perseverance, you will succeed.

If you have insurance on you, called Faith, and an eternal driver with you called Jesus, you will be able to make it to the finish line and this wonderful place called Heavenly Success with our Creator in the heavens above.

IT’S IN THE VALLEYS I WILL TRULY BEGIN TO GROW

Sometimes life seems hard to bear

Sometimes it’s full of sorrows, troubles, and woe

It’s then that I need to remember

That it’s in the valleys where I will truly begin to grow

If I always stayed on the mountaintops with you oh, Lord,

And I never experienced any pain,

I would never be able to appreciate your beautiful love,

And I would be living My life here in vain.

Therefore, I have so much to learn about you,

And I know My growth will be very slow,

Though there will be times I need to be on your mountaintops,

It’s in the valleys where I will truly begin to grow.

Though you do not always allow Me to understand

Why troublesome things happen to Me as they do,

I still am sure of one thing in My life,

You dear Lord, will always see Me through.

Therefore, the little valleys in My life will mean nothing to Me,

When I am able to picture Your Son, Jesus, on the cross.

I know He went through the valley of death for Me;

To give Me eternal life, and Satan’s first loss.

So forgive me oh Lord, for complaining all the time,

When I am feeling sorry for Myself and very low.

Just find the time to give Me a gentle reminder

That it’s in the valleys where I will truly begin to grow.

Continue to strengthen and encourage me, oh Lord,

And use Me in some way each day,

To share your words with the others who need You,

So they will be able to serve you in some way.

Thank you for all of the valleys in My life, oh Lord,

Thank you for helping Me to know,

Though Your mountaintops are glorious to see and behold
